This competition is created to celebrate the art of one minute format filmmaking shot on Sony cameras across Indonesia. Our mission is to encourage future filmmakers and providing a platform to showcase their exceptional talent and creativity.
One Minute Film Competition by Sony Indonesia includes two categories; Fiction (scripted) and Non-Fiction (documentary).

CRITERIA AND T&C'S
Calling all filmmakers across Indonesia!
To join the competition, all you need to do is login to the Alpha Universe website with your MySony account or create your MySony account from the registration tab, upload your film to Youtube, and submit the link of your film entry by clicking the tab below.
Competition Mechanism:
- Fiction and Non-Fiction films are accepted for submission.
- The maximum film duration is 1 minute. Opening and/or closing credits may add up to an additional 10 seconds in total.
- At least 80% of the whole film should be shot with a Sony camera. Entries found to be non-compliant may be disqualified.
- Film has to be uploaded to YouTube with caption format: “<Film Title> | One Minute Film Competition by Sony Indonesia”
- Submit a Youtube link of the entry to the online form on Alpha Universe.
- Shortlisted Nominees will also be required to submit a soft copy of the behind-the-scene video or minimum 3 photos to prove that the film is shoot with a Sony camera.
- Video format is at least Full HD (1920 x 1080) with aspect ratio 16:9.
- Participant agrees to Terms & Conditions as listed at this link.
- All entries must be submitted online (including uploading of the film to Youtube for public) latest by 31 December 2023 at 23:59 WIB.
